Escarpment Publishing is an ethical self-publishing service for authors who want assistance to publish their book. We’re an imprint of the international hybrid publisher AIA Publishing based in Australia, so you can be sure you’ll get the same personal care from an experienced team with high standards of integrity.
We publish fiction for self-publishing authors, general non-fiction, children’s books, personal memoirs, family histories and anything else that we think worthy of publication and we’re qualified to evaluate.
The headquarters of this small family business sit beneath the Illawarra Escarpment on the South Coast of NSW, Australia. Though created primarily to service authors in the local community, we publish authors from all over the world through printers located in the UK, USA and Australia. We do, however, particularly welcome submissions from authors residing in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands areas of NSW, Australia.
We offer author services such as editing and cover design as well as a full publishing package. Books we accept for publication will be required to meet basic standards of proficiency and must have socially responsible content. We will advise on what editing is needed, and the book must be, at the very least, professionally copy edited and proofread before we will agree to publish it.
There are many book publishers in Australia and various different publishing models; we do the tricky bits for you. We guide you through the process, giving you the benefit of our professional expertise, but allowing you to retain control of the project.
